While advance registration is not mandatory, we highly recommend it to secure your spot. Many of our public skating sessions reach full capacity, and pre-registration ensures you have guaranteed access to the ice.

Residents of Chelsea can register online 24 hours before the skate time, while non-residents can register 12 hours in advance. Priority registration is given to Chelsea residents, consistent with our class registration process.

Yes, there is a limit of 50 people on the ice at a time. This limitation is in place to create a safe and enjoyable skating environment. While other venues may accommodate larger crowds, our focus is on providing a quality experience for all participants.

Strollers are not allowed on the ice for safety and cleanliness reasons. Our commitment to maintaining high-quality ice necessitates that only skates are permitted on the surface.

A CSA-approved helmet (no bike helmets, please!) is mandatory for individuals aged 12 and under while on the ice. We highly recommend that those aged 12 and above also wear a helmet to prioritize everyone's health and safety.

For the safety of children under the age of 12, a caregiver/parent (age 16+) must be present in the arena. While they don't need to be on the ice, they should be able to supervise their child at all times.

All public skates are 50 minutes in duration unless otherwise specified.

The bracelets provided during check-in serve as proof of payment for your session.

Our public skating sessions are designed for the enjoyment of skating, not figure skating practice. To ensure the safety of all participants, we kindly ask that you engage in circular motion skating without jumps and spins.
