Join us on December 1 from 1:00 to 3:30 PM for a fun family pottery class, led by Valerie Lessard from Muraï Céramique, where you’ll create your own snowman! Pieces will be glazed and fired at the studio, with pick-up available at the Meredith Centre the week before Christmas. This is a perfect family activity, and adults and children must both register. Kids over 10 years old are welcome to attend on their own.

It’s known for its community-centered approach to pottery, combining artistry with a strong connection to the natural elements of ceramics. Get into the festive spirit with our free Holiday Card Making Workshop! Join us on Sunday, December 8th, for a creative and family-friendly afternoon with local artist Stephanie Browness. This hands-on workshop invites participants of all ages to design unique holiday cards, using a variety of materials and techniques. Perfect for creating personalized cards for loved ones, this workshop is an opportunity for families to connect, create, and share some holiday cheer. All supplies will be provided, so just bring your imagination and holiday spirit!

The Chelsea Foundation is pleased to announce the list of 12 individuals elected for induction into the Chelsea Wall of Fame.  The program is designed to recognize those individuals who have demonstrated excellence in sport, innovation, and leadership in arts, cultural & community-building endeavors.  The induction ceremony is scheduled for Saturday, October 26th, at the Centre Meredith as part of the celebrations marking the 26th anniversary of the Chelsea Foundation and the 11th anniversary of the Centre Meredith.
