Public Skating

Our public skating sessions can be enjoyed by the whole family. Whether you are new to skating or an avid lover of the ice you can enjoy a safe and fun skate at the Centre Meredith.

Are you a figure skater and wanting more time on the ice to practice and fine tune your skills?

Our open figure skating sessions are for figure skaters who wish to practice their jumps, spins, edges and more.

Pick Up Hockey

Grab your stick, skates, shin pads, helmet and gloves for some on ice fun. This public time is a great time to practice your skills and drills or get a game going with some friends!

Reservations are available 24 hours in advance for Chelsea Residents and 12 hours in advance for the public.

Please consider….

  • All children ages 12 and under must wear a CAS approved helmet on the ice (we highly recommend that everybody wears one!) and have an adult supervisor in the arena.

  • Attending public skating? Public skating is an enjoyable time for all and is formatted with skating in a circular motion around the ice. Want to jump and spin? Join us for a figure skating open skate!

  • Want to have a stick and puck on the ice? This is for pick up hockey time only and not for our public skates.

  • Strollers and chairs are not permitted on the ice.
